What time is it? (In the game clock)

Edited to add:  The game developers recently added a game clock. It is in the game settings.

The game uses UTC, which stands for Universal Coordinated Time.  This is an international time standard.  For practical purposes, it is the same as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or Military Zulu Time.

Every time zone in the world can be identified as GMT plus or minus a number of hours, depending on whether the time zone is East or West of Greenwich, England.

For example, the Central US time zone is 6 hours behind GMT.  When it is midnight in Chicago, it is 6 am in GMT.  Therefore, Chicago's GMT time is GMT-6.

The game resets at midnight GMT.  The easy way to know when events are going to happen in the game, find out when the game resets in your time zone. That will be the start of the new game day. Most people speak in terms of something happening so many hours before or after reset. 

If you get stuck, go to the daily tasks and look at the countdown clock.  It will tell you how long until the game resets.
